Interim CEO/Executive Vacancy Announcement


The executive leader of the Southern Prairie YMCA Inc. is responsible for establishing and implementing the mission, vision, goals, and values of the YMCA

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Advocate the YMCA Vision Within the Community
  • Build and Develop the Staff Team
  • Be Visible Within the YMCA and Community
  • Improve Operational Performance

Base Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human services or related area; related graduate degree preferred.
  • Five or more years broad management experience, preferably in the YMCA and/or not-for-profit sector; strategic planning, board and volunteer development, philanthropic development and branch operations.

The position will be will part time ranging from 20 to 30 hours per week; the hourly pay rate will be based on work experience and education.  The term of the Interim CEO / Executive will be based on the time that is needed to hire the new CEO / Executive.
